Microsoft just released the Lync for iPad client version 1.5 on iTunes, and a great new feature has been added.
Your Lync servers need to be patched with CU6 (June 2012), and then your iPad users will be able to see the PowerPoint presentations shared during a Lync Conference. This is how it looks like:

As said, this only works when:
- using the iPad client (no Windows Phone, iPhone or Android yet)
- Lync server back-end is patched with Lync CU6
